Feverfew Growing Tips

Feverfew, Tanacetum parthenium, has tiny, daisy-like flowers with yellow centers and white petals.  It is a nice addition to garden borders and containers. Feverfew makes a great cut flower for use as a filler in arrangements. The flowers also dry well. Tender perennial.

General Care

  • Plant in full sun, 8 to 12” apart.
  • Feverfew will self-seed easily, so it is advisable to cut back the plant before it goes to seed.

Harvesting

  • Harvest when the flower cluster is ¾ open to use as a fresh cut flower.
  • For a dried arrangement, harvest when the cluster is close to fully open.
