General Care
- Marigolds need well-drained soil and full sun (6+ hours).
- The plants tolerate dry soil better than overly wet soil.

- Marigolds don’t require deadheading, but removing old blooms can help keep the plants neat and tidy and encourage more blooms.
Harvesting
- Make sure to introduce flowers into your diet slowly and only use small amounts at one time.
- When harvesting, remove the flower base and use only the petals. The base has a bitter flavor.
