Traditional Italian heirloom with great flavor.

This distinctive zucchini is medium gray-green, with pale green flecks and prominent ribs. Big, large-leafed, semi-vining plants. Slower to bear and not as high yielding as hybrid varieties. However, much better flavor; clearly better textured, nutty, and delicious, raw or cooked. Also a productive source for tasty male squash blossoms and good for stuffing even when the fruits get way oversized.
