Very attractive glossy green leaves packed in dense mini rosettes. Smooth outer leaves and blanched tender hearts; compact heads smaller than Tin Tin. Very heat tolerant but best early and late in season.

Highly productive black heirloom with excellent flavor. Resists cracking and cat-facing better than other large, black heirlooms, producing a higher proportion of marketable fruit. Blocky round, 10-14 oz. fruit with dark olive shoulders fading into a very dark, brick red. Boasts the signature rich flavor and meaty texture of a classic black tomato. Excellent yields and fruit quality for an heirloom. Productive over a longer period than similar types. Well-balanced plant habit.
