Yarrow Growing Tips
Yarrow, Achillea millefolium, is a perennial flower that produces large, umbel-shaped flower heads which rise above feathery, fern-like foliage. The flower heads are made up of numerous tiny individual flowers. Yarrow is native to much of North America and supports a number of beneficial insects. Deer-resistant.
General Care
- Yarrow grows best in well-drained soil and is drought resistant, so it doesn’t need to be watered frequently.
- Plant in full sun (6+ hours).
- Space plants 1 to 2 feet apart to allow room to grow.
